About the Candidate

I'm a passionate and energetic communicator and leader with a love for people. I am always seeking to grow others, and achieve great things together with the team around me.

Three Chapters
01
Chapter One

Why I Came to Chick-fil-A

For 5 years I was a pastor, with the goal of showing people the reality of the love of Jesus. Yet I found myself mostly interacting with the same people that believed the same as me, and only seeing them once a week. I left being a pastor only knowing that I wanted to find a place I could interact with people that wouldn't normally come to a church building. Chick-fil-A welcomed me with open arms and fulfilled what I was looking for.

  • Community involvement is of the utmost importance to me. I want to show the love of Jesus to as many people as possible.
  • Chick-fil-A resonates with people in a way that both communicates care and draws in a crowd.
  • Chick-fil-A has given me the opportunity to interact with thousands of people every week, while also getting to daily pour into and develop the team around me.

Why I Want to Become an Operator

My goal of becoming an operator is rooted in my love for people and a desire to bring lasting change to a community and city, as well as my entrepreneurial spirit and the joy I find in innovating and problem solving.

  • I want to run a business that brings honor to the great legacy Chick-fil-A has, while building upon that foundation to raise the brand to new heights.
  • I have a passion and lifelong goal to impact local communities in a way that nobody has seen done before. Not just being known for hospitality in the restaurant, but being known for the hospitality we show outside of it's walls.
  • I believe that treating people the right way leads to running a business the right way. Having the opportunity to influence an entire team and leaders to impact guests and the community not only excites me personally, but will lead to tremendous success for the business.

Chapter Three

What I've Done at Chick-fil-A

What I have accomplished reflects what I hope to become as an operator. I have grown the brand of Chick-fil-A in communities across the country and have influenced every aspect of the business, all while training and working alongside others to turn success into reality.

  • Creating training programs and meeting with leaders across three locations to maximize individual growth and streamline their path to promotion within the company.
    • Manager Training Plan completely curated in-house and used to help those struggling with leadership capabilities to realize their full potential.
    • Video training series collaborating with all leadership team to complete a full team book study without the need for meetings.
    • Leadership Development Pipeline tracking employee growth, potential to be promoted, and the steps needed to continue their ascent in the company.
  • Developing innovative new systems to enhance the operational experience for team members and guests.
    • A camera system for breaders to help reduce hold times in BOH and better train new hires for all kitchen positions.
    • A revolutionary Mobile Drive-Thru scan feature that increased mobile overall satisfaction to 96% and higher than top 5% of the chain.
    • Partnering with Chick-fil-A INC's Senior Product Leads for Customer Digital Experience to test how our drive-thru technology could benefit all restaurants without a dedicated mobile lane, and piloting a test with them for auto-release at traditional drive-thru locations.
    • Payment method while using headset that significantly improved Speed of Service. Decreasing average wait times by 2 minutes during dayparts in which headset is primarily used for order taking.
  • Initiating a 12 month plan to optimize finances, talent, marketing, and training during a time of change in our market.
    • Working with all directors across multiple locations to execute this plan, leading to 20% higher sales than initially projected.
    • Orchestrating a community engagement campaign across multiple locations to drive brand loyalty. Producing signage, texting campaigns, social media posts, and "You Are Loved" offer card holders that have brought a 7% increase on return to our specific locations.
